Resolution Steps



Change Password

 

Compose Email

    1. From Webmail, click on Compose


    2. Fill out fields, then click Send Message when finished


    • The Address book can also be used to fill in the To, CC, and BCC fields, by clicking on an address from the list, and then clicking on the Field at the right of the address book to add the address


    • Add an Attachment, click Browse to select a file, and then click Attach add the file to the email


 

Delete Email

    1. From Webmail, click on Inbox


    2. From Inbox, select the messages to delete by putting a check mark next to the email


    • To delete all messages by page, click in the box at the left of From


    • User can also open up the email message, and click Delete to delete message from Inbox


  • When finished, click Delete selected messages


    • To delete all messages from Inbox, click Delete all messages in folder 


  • Select Yes to delete messages from the Inbox


    • Messages will then be moved to the deleted folder


  • To delete messages from the deleted folder, click on Menu and select Deleted 


  • Scroll down to the bottom and select Delete ALL messages in folder, click OK to confirm


    • To delete specific messages, put a check mark next to the email at the left side, and select Delete selected messages


  • Click Yes to confirm


    • Note: Deleting messages from the deleted folder will permanently delete messages from Webmail and the Server


 

Setup Email Forwarding

    1. From Webmail, click on Account Options


    2. Choose Forwarding from the dropdown menu


    3. Enter in the email address the emails will be forwarded to


    4. Click Save


 

Address Book

    From Webmail, click on Account Options, choose Address Book from the dropdown

      To add an email address :

    1. Choose Email Address, located next to Add 


    2. Enter in the User Name and Email Address 


    3. Click Add 


    To delete an email address: 

    1. Select the email address 


    2. Click Delete 


 

Block an Email Address

    1. From Webmail, click on Account Options


    2. Choose Filters from the dropdown


    3. Click Add


    4. Click on the dropdown next to Select Field, and choose From


    5. Put a dot next to contains


    6. Type in the name or email address in the Phrase box


    7. Click Add Condition


    8. Email address will populate in Rules box


    9. Click on the dropdown next to Filter Action


    10. Select either Bounce or Delete the message


    11. Click Finish


    12. Rule information will prompt at the Filters screen


 

Add a Signature

    1. From Webmail, click on Account Options


    2. Choose My Signature from the drop down


    3. Type the signature into the box


    4. Click Save


 

Change Display Name

    1. From Webmail, click on the Account Options


    2. Choose Manage User Options from the drop down menu


    3. Next to the First and Last Name fields, delete, and type in the name to display on outgoing emails


    4. Click Save when done


 

Add, Delete, and Rename Folders

    1. From Webmail, click on Account Options


    2. Choose My Folders from the drop down


    3. In the name field, type in the name


    4. Click create


      New folder will appear in the folder list at the top

        Rename a Folder: 

    1. Click on the folder


    2. In the name field, type in the new name


    3. Click Rename


    New name of folder will appear in the box to the right as well as in the folder list at the top

      Delete a Folder:

    1. In the box at the right side, click on the folder


    2. Choose Delete


 

Change Trash Management Settings

    1. From Webmail, click on Account Options


    2. Choose Preferences from the drop down


    3. Scroll down to the bottom to Delete Options


    4. Select the ones that apply


    5. Click Save


 

Setup a Vacation Message

    1. From Webmail, click on Account Options


    2. Choose My Vacation Message from the drop down


    3. Type the Vacation message


    4. Click Save


 

Setup an Auto Response Message

    Auto Response is a combination of email forwarding and a vacation message

    When auto response is setup, all future emails sent to the Starstream email address will be forwarded to another email address and the Sender will receive an auto response

    1. From Webmail, click on Account Options


    2. Choose Auto Responder from the drop down


    3. Select Mailbox to Inbox 


    4. Type in the email address that emails need to be forwarded to and enter in an auto response message


    5. Click Save
