Resolution Steps



Smart Home Login Information

    • In a web browser go to wavebroadband.com/mysmarthome
       
    • Enter the login name and password to login

    • After logging in the main overview page appears 

 

Turn Notifications On / Off

    • Login to the Smart Home customer portal

    • Click Notifications on the left side of the Home screen

    • On the right, click on the button of the notification you wish to turn on or off
 

Customer Equipment View

    • This tab on the left side navigation panel displays the devices and sensors on the Customer's Smart Home Account

    • Options for changing settings and remote power cycle  vary by device

    • The tab opens the overview with all the equipment; the top menu options displays by type of sensor or sensor group
 

Event History

    • The Event History tab on the left side of the navigation panel shows events that are communicated to and from Alarm.com

    • It displays events being communicated by devices and sensors on the Smart Home Panel

    • There are also separate tabs for account and login history
 

Update Login Email

 

Re-Set My Monitoring Station Passcode

    Online:

    • After login, select Settings in the left-hand navigation bar

    • Select Monitoring Station

    • Update the Passcode section

    • Click the blue updatebutton to save

 

Set Up User Codes on My Account

    Set up user codes for your family members, friends, dog walker, nanny or anyone who has access to arm/disarm your panel

    • Log into Alarm.com on your desktop or laptop and click the Users link under the Security tab

    • Then click Add User

    • Update the Passcode section

    • Enter the user's name and specify their access level

    • Create a code and specify access times

    • Click Save and your new user is created

 

Smart Home Portal Setting Rules

    Rules can be setup for taking  images, motion detection, or other sensor conditions. Rules can then be used to set other devices in a different state

    • Click on Automation on the left side of the Smart Home portal to open the main rules page

    • Click on the Add New Rule button on the upper right side of the page to create a new rule based on triggered events, image sensor, or thermostat

      1. Add New Event Triggered Rule:

        • Creating a new rule based on a trigger of the alarm, arming/disarming, sensor activity, or a Geo Fence trigger (smart phone GPS paired and set with the Smart Home mobile app)

      2. New Image Sensor Rule:

        • Choose a preset base to begin the image sensor rule. On the next page you can confirm settings or  customize if needed. Press Save to complete

      3. New Video Rule:

        • Choose a preset base to begin the video camera rule. On the next page you can confirm settings or  customize if needed. Press Save to complete

      4. New Thermostat Rule:

        • Choose a preset base to begin the  thermostat rule. On the next page you can confirm settings or  customize if needed. Press Save to complete
